We hope you enjoyed—and survived!—our demonstration, Turn up the Base, where Jesse discussed the efforts involved in setting up a massive tower crane on top of a mountain in rural South Dakota. On this page, you will find some photos and/or videos related to this ongoing work—more will be added in the coming days. We have also included the charts that visualize how plumb we got the first tower crane and how rock removal has been progressing since it was installed. We’re looking forward to the second one and being able to work the entire length of the carving for the first time in history.
